Lou asks: What gives monkeys a good sense of hearing? Hi, the title says it all. It is well known that monkeys have a keen sense of hearing that they use to avoid predators and communication over long distances, but I was wondering what exactly makes her so good hearing? More hair in the ears that detect sound? Larger ears? Plz halp me, I’m a bit lost in it. Best answer:

As you know, any animal or creature that has hair around its ears has acute hearing sense. I will give an example of a spider, its very sensitive due to the hair around it so the monkey is sensitive due to the hair that traps any sound around it that’s why it is very good.
