What can cause a sudden black out in vision and dizziness as if i am spinning for a few seconds?
It mostly happens when I am getting out of a bath/shower. But it will also happened randomly when I am walking, & it has happened when I get up from laying down or sitting. What is the cause of this?

This is not a question to ask a group of strangers. My advice, go see a doctor.

Sounds like a drop in blood pressure. This is known as orthostatic hypotension. Orthostatic hypotension is really mostly seen in changing position from sitting/laying down to standing. The black out in vision and dizziness is due to the loss of blood flow (temporarily) due to lowered blood pressure.

Orthostatic hypotension is fairly common. It doesn’t always signify that there is a problem, but it would be a good idea to mention it to your doctor.

You are just getting dizzy from getting up too quickly or getting out of a hot environment into a cold one. I have the same problem just make sure you take a second to let the blackness go away before you start to walk. Make sure also when your laying down, sit up first and then stand, it usually takes care of it

Probably low blood sugar. When it happens, try eating a spoonful of sugar (or a packet if you are walking). If you get better, that’s why. If so, then try eating small meals every two to three hours and make sure you have breakfast.

If that doesn’t help, see a doctor. It could be an inner ear problem or a whole host of other possibilities.

Drops in blood pressure can happen when you are going from sitting/lying to standing. (Orthostatic hypotension) However, that is not what you are describing, so it isn’t likely to be that.
